TaxBytes identifies the ‘red flags’
Junior staff may not always be able to solve the problem, but with in-house tax training they learn where the problems are
In-house training for accounting, legal and advisory firms
Face to face, effective training targeted to the needs of your team and your practice. We will keep your firm at the forefront of tax and superannuation changes in a way that is meaningful and engaging.
When you engage TaxBytes, we provide all of our clients with a comprehensive technical monthly update – just to ensure that you are in the loop.
In-house training is an effective and consistent way of developing your team.
Our two-hour in-house training sessions are delivered either monthly, bimonthly or quarterly. These sessions are composed of:
- A practical 1 hour update to keep your team at the forefront of change, and
- A special topic. The special topic is selected two weeks prior to the training. You can select the topic from our extensive library or request a topic. We operate more on a bespoke basis where you can tailor the training to your firm’s individual needs rather than accepting a set series of topics.
- Reference notes. Comprehensive reference notes are delivered to you prior to each session.
We can also tailor sessions for specific experience levels within your firm. For example, for some firms we target training specifically to their graduate team members, or by running workshops on specific topics that you choose.
It’s up to you how many of your team attend each session.

“As a firm we decided to use Taxbytes as it provides us with interactive workshops on topics of our choosing and all our staff enjoying hearing Jo-anne Hotston present.
She always makes a dry topic interesting.”

Remote mentoring is our in-house service delivered online.
Remote mentoring is the same format as our in-house training. At the allocated time, all you need to do is log in and participate in the session. Unlike webinars, these small groups can interact directly with the presenter asking questions and delving into the detail of the topic.
Your team can access your firm’s mentoring sessions individually or in a group. All you need is a computer or device with internet access and speaker/headphones, and a microphone (if you want to ask questions).
We’ve all been to those conferences where the only thing that is interesting are the post session drinks.
TaxBytes will ensure your guests walk away from your congress, conference, or workshop entertained and well informed. It’s an opportunity to make your event meaningful.
- In depth technical sessions from 1 hour to full day workshops
- Reference notes. Comprehensive reference notes delivered prior to the session.
